Ecommerce Marketing CalgaryAds people buy from.

Done-for-you ecommerce marketing for brand-owned Shopify stores in Canada and the US, run from Calgary. We film the product and founder video on location, run your Meta ads, manage your Shopify store and improve it so more visitors buy. One team, judged on orders.

You don’t brief a videographer, a media buyer and a Shopify developer. You brief us.

Here’s what you’re actually paying for.

Get the traffic

  1. 01

    Offer and account strategy

What to sell first, to whom and at what spend, decided before a dollar goes out.

  2. 02

    On-location filming

Product, founder and customer-style video. In Calgary and area we batch record it in one session at your space. Outside Calgary we write the scripts and tell you exactly what we need filmed, based on our research.

  3. 03

    Creative

Statics and video cut for feeds, Stories and Reels, tested until one wins.

  4. 04

    Media buying and research

Meta campaigns built around the words your customers actually use. Every dollar tracked.

Convert the traffic

  1. 05

    Store improvements for CRO

CRO means conversion rate optimization: changing the store so more of the people who visit actually buy. Product page rebuilds, landing pages for paid traffic, clearer shipping and offers, mobile fixes and faster pages, tested one change at a time so we know what worked.

  2. 06

    Shopify management

We look after the store month to month: improving conversion rate, building advertorials and landing pages for products, store redesigns, adding new products, product and collection updates and theme changes made safely on a copy before they go live. A backup before every change.

Work with us on the ads, the store or both.

Two ad sets showing 6 and 8 website purchases, cost per purchase, amount spent, impressions and reach Purchase return on ad spend for the two ad sets, 94.18 and 42.53
Ad set level: purchases, spend, reach and return on ad spend

The situation

NAT Performance sells tuning files and custom exhaust kits for European diesels. For Labour Day they wanted to move Tunezilla tuning files and the matching exhaust without discounting the whole store or disrupting dealer pricing.

What we did

  • Built a stackable two-code offer in Shopify, 15% off Tunezilla files and 5% off the matching exhaust, so buyers were pushed toward the full build
  • Protected existing dealer discounts while switching the offer from automatic to code-based mid-sale
  • Created the “Do the whole build” creative in static and video formats
  • Wrote and ran the Meta campaign across the two-week sale window

The result

Two ads drove $44,964 in sales on $952 of spend. The video ad returned 57.8x and the static 42.9x. The full sale did $162,000 across all channels.

Profitable Scale Program

Why the 90-day term

The first month of ecommerce ads is mostly testing and learning. Results compound in months two and three, so the 90 days gives the account enough time to find winning creative and scale it.

Why the minimum ad spend

Below $3,000 a month, there isn’t enough purchase data to tell what’s working. The minimum makes sure every decision is based on real results, not guesses.

Questions store owners ask us.

What does an ecommerce marketing agency in Calgary actually do?

A good one works on both halves of the problem: getting the right people to the store and getting more of them to buy. At Agera that means the offer and account strategy, product and founder video filmed on location, Meta ads and the Shopify store itself, from product pages to month to month management. We judge it on orders.

How much should an ecommerce store spend on Facebook and Instagram ads?

Our minimum is $3,000 a month in ad spend. Below that, there isn’t enough purchase data to tell what’s working. Above it, the right number is what your margins can carry while we test. We set it together on the discovery call using your average order value, margin and repeat purchase rate. We only raise it when the return justifies it.

What is CRO and how is it different from running ads?

CRO stands for conversion rate optimization. Ads bring people to the store. CRO gets more of those people to buy once they arrive. It covers product pages, landing pages, shipping and offer presentation, mobile layout and speed, changed one thing at a time so we know what worked.

Can you just manage my Shopify store, without ads?

Yes. Shopify management and store improvements are offered on their own. That covers improving conversion rate, advertorials and landing pages for products, store redesigns, adding new products, product and collection updates and theme changes made safely on a copy before anything goes live.

Do you need access to my Shopify store?

Yes, through a staff or collaborator account that you control and can remove at any time. Changes are built on an unpublished copy of your theme first, you review them and nothing goes live without your approval. We take a backup before every change.

Do you work with stores outside Calgary?

Yes. We are based in Calgary and work with brand-owned ecommerce stores across Canada and the US. On-location filming is for Calgary and area. For stores outside Calgary we still write the scripts and tell you exactly what we need filmed, based on our research.

Why is there a 90-day term?

The first month of ecommerce ads is mostly testing and learning. Results compound in months two and three, so the 90 days gives the account enough time to find winning creative and scale it. After the first 90 days it is month to month.

Why is there a minimum ad spend?

Below $3,000 a month, there isn’t enough purchase data to tell what’s working. The minimum makes sure every decision is based on real results, not guesses.

Who pays for the ad spend?

You do, directly to Meta. Ad spend is separate from our management fee, so you always see exactly what went to ads and what went to us.

How soon will I see results?

Honestly, it takes a few weeks. The first month of ecommerce ads is mostly testing and learning: which product, which angle, which creative, which page. Results compound in months two and three, which is why we start with a 90-day term. We will not promise a specific return, because nobody can do that truthfully. What we do promise is a plain-English report every two weeks on orders, cost per purchase and what changes next.
