Privacy Policy.

What we collect, why, and how to reach us about it.

This policy explains what personal information The Agera Agency (“we”, “us”) collects through theageraagency.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We are based in Calgary, Alberta, and we handle personal information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

The short version

What we collect

Information you give us

When you fill in a form on this site, we collect what you enter. Depending on the form, that can include:

We only ask for what we need to understand your business and get back to you. Please do not include sensitive information (such as health or financial account details) in any form.

Demo calls

If you request an AI receptionist demo, an AI voice agent will call the number you gave us. The call may be recorded and transcribed so we can deliver the demo, confirm any booking and improve the service. You can hang up at any time.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical data when you visit (such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view) to keep the site secure and working. We also use the Meta Pixel, described below.

How we use your information

We will not use your information for any other purpose without asking you first.

Consent and messages

When you tick the consent box on one of our forms, you agree that we can contact you by phone, text and email about your enquiry. You can withdraw that consent at any time. Reply STOP to any text, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or email reece@theageraagency.com. Withdrawing consent will not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

Cookies and the Meta Pixel

We do not use cookies for advertising ourselves, but this site uses the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta Platforms (the company behind Facebook and Instagram). The pixel places cookies in your browser and tells Meta when you visit a page or submit a form. We use it to measure our ads and to show our ads to people who have visited this site. Meta handles this data under its own privacy policy.

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may also set a small cookie that is strictly necessary to protect the site from bots and attacks.

You can control cookies in these ways:

By continuing to use this site, you agree to this use of cookies. We may add a cookie choice banner in future.

Who we share it with

We never sell or rent your information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, and only as much as they need:

These providers must protect your information and may only use it to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Where your information is stored

Some of our service providers store information on servers outside Canada, mainly in the United States. When that happens, your information is protected by our agreements with those providers, but it may be accessible to courts and authorities in that country under its laws.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and demo information for as long as we need it to talk with you, and for up to two years after our last contact, unless you become a client. Client information is kept for as long as the law requires (for example, seven years for tax records). When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous.

How we protect it

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), password-protected accounts, and access limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will tell you and the relevant authorities if a breach puts you at real risk of significant harm, as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

Email reece@theageraagency.com and we will reply within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first. If you are not happy with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta.

Children

This site is for business owners. It is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our business or the law changes. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be shown clearly on this page.
